Our expert technicians create customized lash extensions to give your eyes that perfect, captivating touch.
A classic lash set application is done in a 1:1 ratio where one individual false lash is placed onto one single natural lash. This is perfect for extending the length and providing more curl to your eyelashes while still maintaining a more natural look.
A hybrid set is a mixture of classic and volume lashes. This set is unique in texture and can be totally customized to the client’s preference. Usually a hybrid set consists of 50% classic lashes and 50% volume fans, however these percentages can be adjusted however you’d like! For example, if a client wants a light hybrid set, 70% of the lashes can be classics and the remaining 30% can be fans. It's the happy medium of lashes!
Volume lashes are described by the name; VOLUMINOUS! Best for clients who want a glamorous finish and a darkened lash line. This type of set application uses multiple false lashes (at a very thin diameter), that are glued together at the base to create a fan. The fan is then placed onto a client’s single natural lash and this process is repeated until the desired result is achieved.
Lash extensions can be made from various materials such as silk, mink fur, synthetic mink, and cashmere. At Senvy Beauty, we use synthetic mink lashes for classic sets as they hold their curl extremely well. For volume sets, Senvy uses cashmere lashes because they are incredibly lightweight and soft! We take pride in using these materials as they are 100% cruelty free!
Lashes will typically last between 2-5 weeks before they require a refill. Certain factors such as weather change, improper aftercare, hormonal imbalance, etc. can affect your set’s retention which is why refills are recommended every 2-3 weeks to keep your set looking full and fresh.
Extensions will not damage your natural eyelashes as long as they are done by a professional. Research your lash artist to ensure they are qualified to be providing this treatment. Proper aftercare is also crucial in maintaining healthy lashes, both extensions and natural. Follow the home-care advice that your lash artist provides for you!
Lash extensions shouldn’t bother you at all once they’ve been placed. If you feel itchy or soreness after a lash appointment it could mean your technician placed the extensions too close to your lash line. If your eyes are very red after an appointment it might be because your eyes weren’t fully closed during application. If any redness or irritation hasn’t gone away within the first 24 hours after your appointment, you should contact your technician immediately and consider removing the extensions/discontinuing this service.
